Karen and Mom out to lunch at Nordstrom and Karen picked up her last items for her upcoming trip to Washington (state) visiting her brother David and his wonderful wife Michele..and will also visit school chums.   I love my family...

Sisters Gathering at McCann's July 19, 2013

Dick and I flew to Seattle for the gathering of a special luncheon at the McCann's lovely home on Lake Washington.

Jeanne made the plan and the McCalnn's were nice enough to use their home with lots of water toys to play with.  Weather was great..David and Michele drove their boat over to the McCann's with dad and I in it.  That was a delight.  Weather was perfect and food outstanding.

We all have children and grand children so if any of our children could possibly make it to this gathering they would come.  All had grand children come and we had David and Michele and each moment with them is great.

We left the party and drove back to David and Michele's home in Covington and enjoyed a pleasant evening with them and their pet of pets (Larry) who is loved by everyone. A beautiful lab (golden color) and is trained so he knows his commands either by Michele or by David.  Such a delightful dog.

Ryker Lee Beaman

How about this handsome Great Grandson. Ryker was born on April 15, 2011 and he has joined Matt and Melinday Beaman and Dad and Mom and Ryker are all doing quite well. Many family members are anxious to hold this new baby and many of us will when Ryker is blessed in June 2011.

Becca Escoto (Bellevue Granddaughter)

Well another wonderful surprise from sweet Becca Escoto on the 20th of Feb. 2011 and my it was a very much needed pleasant surprise. We were able to get caught up with

Becca and her life and her family in Bellevue. We miss the Escoto family very much and we are always so very happy when they come to Draper to visit us. Main reason for Becca to come here (besides seeing us) she was here with her best girl friend Kari White (sp?) who is getting married the end of March. Exciting

time for Becca who will be the maid of honor. Thanks for coming to visit Grandpa and me.

I loved the visit from Dave and Michele and we were all able to be with each other (siblings) while they were here. Much fun.

Dave had Karen help him with my surprise visit from him and Michele and it worked 100 % I did not know one thing about this visit to Utah. These two can surprise me anytime they want...Love happy Mom

Well as you can see our kids and their spouses and dad Elder is with his sons and son in-law we had a great time with our children.

Karen was in on the little secret about Dave and Michele flying in to Utah and surprising us. I was having lunch with Karen at Kneaders and in walked Dave and Michele and boy was I surprised. I had to think for a minute or two if all of this was real. When I finally came to my senses I was thrilled to see Dave and Michele. We hadn;t seen them since we moved the end of August 2010 and so was a big deal to me, the Mother.

Each day of Dave and Michele's visit was filled either with friends or family and they left yesterday (the 19th of Feb.) to head back to Washington. Good time and lots of hugs to lift our spirits until they come again and hopefully the wait won't be as long till their next visit.

Lydia Lee Bundy Great Granddaughter

Here is a picture of our Great Granddaughter Lydia Bundy. She was given a name and a blessing by her father (Rusty Bundy)last Sunday the 6th of Feb. 2011 in Hyrum, Utah. Wonderful day for everyone that could make the trip. We all had a wonderful lunch at the home of Michelle Bundy's Mom in Nibley. ((Gayla Rounds) We all got to hold the baby and have a great visit.

Pictures of our latest Great...Riot Cook

Well, I finally figured out how to get these three pictures on my blog so everyone can enjoy our two new Great Grand Children. The first picture is of the proud parents, Annie and Cam Cook holding Riot Cook. Riot was born in December 2010 and he is a joy to the family. Next picture is of Mary Knigge and Riot Cook and they were enjoying the day at our home with their parents. Parents of Mary are Daniel and Krystal and Daniel (the dad) is now a police officer and works only 5 minutes from their home in Riverton, Utah. Krystal and Daniel have a older daughter, Ellie, two years of age.

Last picture is of Great Grandpa and Great Grandma June holding Rock in his carrier. Such a sweet baby and everyone enjoyed being together for this special family visit.

Here are two of our darling Great Granddaughters, Mary and Ellie Knigge and they were over for dinner last Sunday, Jan 16th 2011. We also had Annie and her husband Cam Cook and their new baby, Riot Elder. I will try and get a picture of Riot next. If not I will ask for help. Love Great Grandma June
